Spare Parts Engineer (m/w/d)

Our client is a leading provider of technologies, solutions and services in the manufacturing industry and is one of the world’s most sustainable companies.
For this client, we are currently searching for the ideal candidate for the following position:

Spare Parts Engineer (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Develop spare parts list pricing in accordance with global pricing policies for loading into SAP for use by Internal Sales.
  • Supporting and preparation of quotation including technical clarification for Operative Spare Part Cases (SA1).
  • Supporting quotation preparation with technical clarification for Capex Spare Part Cases (SA2).
  • Research parts history to understand parts usage and pricing levels offered previously and consider capability for commonality and parts harmonization (SA1).
  • Raise requests from procurement for costing on parts through supply processes and tools (SA1).
  • Raise requests on engineering to ascertain correct usage of part numbers and associated specifications, drawings and codes (SA1 & SA2).
  • Responsible for spare parts quotations, pricing and offering packages related to CAPEX proposal (SA2).
  • Support internal sales team through parts identification and technical clarification.
  • Support product management to update and maintain Installed Base for spare parts.
  • Raise requests for creation of Material Master Data.
  • Identification of complementary spare part offerings based on scope of request.
  • Supporting  quotation preparation in other technically complex cases.
  • Communicate technical exceptions to Product Line and Service Center.
  • Coordinate inspections when required, follow-up manufacturing plans.

Ihr Profil:

  • Utilize product knowledge combined with prior experience and foresight into typical issues.
  • Utilize technology knowledge in complex cases.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings both mechanical and electrical instrument diagrams.
  • Ability to handle multiple enquiries concurrently in a high pressure environment.
  • Collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverages product, equipment and process knowledge to identify and implement asset utilization improvements.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Good communication and team-work.
  • Understanding of ERP / PDM-systems and processes.
  • Strong Customer Service understanding.
